You can find us in the small mountain town of Payson in the heart of Arizona. Highways 87
and 260 go right through it. The population here averages around 13,000 and that includes
the environs. If the proposed college is ever completed, the population could double. The
altitude is about 5,000 feet. Payson is located next to the Mogollon Rim. The Rim is a
breath-taking ridge along the southwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau, mostly in Arizona's
midsection. Created by faulting and erosion, in some places it's 8,000 ft. high! Great
fossil hunting on top of the Rim, too. We love it here!
